Pastor
Moses Emmanuel Eli was born to Haitian Immigrants to the USA at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated Summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ministerial Theology and a minor in Biblical Languages from Oakwood University. He also earned a Masters of Divinity degree with an emphasis in New Testament from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University.
He enjoys listening to good gospel music like Fred Hammond, Richard Smallwood and Dawkins & Dawkins. His favorite gospel group of all time is COMMISSIONED. He also enjoys staying active and playing sports like basketball, football and bowling. He loves ALL-THINGS PHILLY, including the Philadelphia Eagles, Philly Soft Pretzels and Philly Cheese Steaks.
He has a great passion for Drama Ministry and has been writing, directing and acting in plays since he was 10 years old. Christian drama has been a critical part of his entire life. He has written over 20 Christian dramatic presentations and
has committed to utilizing drama ministry as a means to present biblical truth and difficult topics in a relevant way to souls in and outside the church.
He is also passionate about the discipleship process as modeled by Jesus Christ, in which sinners are drawn to the Redeemer without condemnation. The Savior then pours out the Holy Spirit upon them, bringing Christ-like transformation in Christ's perfect timing. He has conducted many discipleship classes and training seminars designed to deepen our understanding of the principles of the Bible so that it may be practically applied in our daily lives, despite a steadily changing world, leading people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pastor Moses Eli has been a leader and active member in various inter-faith clergy
associations, aiding to bring about hope and justice in the townships of his parishes. He has received a certificate in the art and science of grant writing from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and has also become a member of the Worldwide Federal Chaplain Association.
His favorite passage of Scripture, which he strives to formulate his life and ministry after, is Psalm 27:1-4, which says, "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the Lord, that I will seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to enquire in His temple." (AV)
